We’ve
Added 30 New Vendors This Year!
The Pennekamp Scrip Program raises more
funds for our school than any other event. Scrip is a nationally recognized and
supported program designed to raise money through purchases you would normally
make on a daily basis.
Groceries, clothing, toys, gifts, even gasoline can be purchased with Scrip.
Scrip comes in the form of gift certificates or gift
cards for shops and restaurants around town. Pennekamp buys the Scrip at a
discounted rate and sells the Scrip to you at face value. The difference
between the face value and the discounted rate is the profit that goes to
Pennekamp.
So the next time you go shopping, out to eat, or to
the gas station, pre-pay for your purchases by buying a Scrip card through the
Pennekamp PTA and you’ll be donating to your school and enriching your child’s
education without spending an extra penny. Scrip is also a great gift!
Participating in Scrip is easy…if every family ordered $100 of Scrip
each month, Pennekamp would earn over $32,000!

Pennekamp now accepts credit card payments for purchases
through PayPal’s secure website!
Follow these easy directions:
1. Fill
out your SCRIP order form as usual (copies on our webpage) and total your SCRIP
purchase.

IF you would like to help defray the cost we incur from taking credit
cards & help us continue our fundraising efforts, you can add 2.75% to your
total purchase price.
2. In
the “Pennekamp SCRIP Purchase for:” field, please enter your first and last
name.
3. In
the “Contact Phone Number:” field, please provide a phone number where we can
contact you with any issues.
4. Click
on the PayPal “Pay Now” button below and you will be taken to the secure PayPal
website where you will have to log-in.

If you do not have a PayPal account, you will be prompted to set one up.
5. Enter
the total amount of your purchase in the “Unit Price” field of the PayPal form.

To calculate price including donation for credit card fees take total SCRIP
cost X 1.0275 fee = Unit Price
6. EXCEPTION
#1 – Although you can register your bank account with PayPal, Pennekamp does
NOT accept check payments ON-LINE… only physical checks through the office.
7. EXCEPTION
#2 -- You cannot buy the following SCRIP using PayPal... Arco, Exxon/ Mobil,
Chevron, Best Buy, American Express, VISA & Toys-R-Us.
8. You
can pick up your SCRIP order on Thursday, after school in the PK front office.
