Fire Fighters!!! |

The Manhattan Beach Fire Department recently
visited Pennekamp's kindergarten playground.
Everyone sat attentively as three of Manhattan Beach's finest
explained to us what fire fighters do
and showed us the equipment on a fire truck!
Here's what a fire fighter wears when he battles
a blaze,
but there REALLY is a person underneath.
Everyone took turns examining the fire truck
up close
and got to ask questions
about anything that came to mind!
We even saw how the fire hose works.
