2004 Volunteer Tea
The Pennekamp PTA teachers and staff held a tea on Thursday, June 10 to honor the many volunteers who help out at school. Over 25,000 hours of service were logged this past year!
Principal Dale Keldrauk welcomed our volunteers to the tea. From serving on the PTA executive board to volunteering in the classrooms,
serving as Young At Art docents, producing the talent show, taking hundreds of photographs, and creating the yearbook, our volunteers are incredibly talented!
They work in the library, stuff the Tuesday envelopes each week, create the parent directory and handbook, website and Dragon's Roar to ensure you stay informed as to what is happening at school.
They coordinate various PTA events like Authors' Week and Family Dragon Night, work at the book fairs, oversee fundraisers like our scrip program, advocate for our children in Sacramento, serve ice cream every Friday and count thousands of boxtops!
